The path to nerdyness has been a long one but can be explained by location and environment. I grew up in the small town of Arlington in northeastern Iowa. Due to the lack of transportation, either by laziness or funds, I spent allot of time playing Nintendo and keeping myself entertained. The natural progression through high school and college has lead me to online gaming and now social networking.
I am married to my wonderful and supportive wife Andrea in Cedar Rapids. We don't have any children at the present time and I constantly refute the notion that we will end up having cats when we get a house. I'm big into sports and especially the Iowa Hawkeyes (GO HAWKS!), as represented by my annual 'please take more of my money' season tickets I purchase each year.
I am currently employed with Gazette Communications as a Data Warehousing Analyst and I am also attending college at Kirkwood to finish up my AA before moving on to my BA. I've been involved with colaberating on data marts, reports, and various web based proccesses throughout the past decade and hope to continue to learn in the future.
