iPrep 101 with iExtreme 1.61

It seems that the last update that Microsoft pushed is causing the newer games not to play on my Xbox360. You know, to play my saved games and stuff. I needed to get the 1.61 update of the iExtreme software for BenQ drives, but I ran into a bit of trouble trying to get it to work.  The previous flashing I did went off without a hitch and I assumed this would as well. Wrong.

Windows Live Messenger – Not On Startup

Ok, so I used a program called FileHippo to check for new updates for all my installed programs on my machine. What a great program! I’ve used it to keep all my stuff up-to-date as well as finding other popular programs that are being installed that I don’t have yet. Everything with the program is great, but I ran into a little snafu when attempting to update my Windows Messenger. I’d HIGHLY recommend the FileHippo application to keep all those programs updated. However, this isn’t a FileHippo issue but *gasp* a Microsoft issue.
