Is talking about religion and politics bad for personal blogging? If it is, let me apologize for this post up front but I am going to do so anyway.  I’ve been pretty interested in this whole Libertarianish movement thats been stewing around in the world of politics. I say “Libertarianish” because most people are not ready to go whole hog on all the Libertarian principals (Gold Standard, removal of Federal agencies, etc…). I’ve pretty much agreed with a majority of what Ron Paul has talked about since the 2008 election in regards to our military and economic policy. Which is weird because I consider myself a somewhat progressive minded individual. The problem I currently have, is all these wack-job Conservatives who believe Obama  is the next coming of Hitler have tied their identity to this movement as well. It seems like anything that is now anti-Obama is the new Libertarian or “Tea Party” point-of-view. I find this to be pretty outrageous considering the type of administration these assholes backed when George W. Bush was El Presidente’.
