Just some stuff I talk about.
Restart Windows? Suck It.

You know, sometimes I just don’t want to restart my computer right away (kthxbai). Ahem. Anways, I’ve found my new favorite Windows XP Pro command. In an effort to make me not lose my mind, I decided to search if there was a command to stop that stupid “Do you want to restart your computer now?” pop-up. Well, wouldn’t you know, there is such a command.

Command To Stop Pop-Up
Say goodbye good sir.

Well played lifehacker, well played indeed.
Things to note on this. It only work s on XP Pro and not on XP Home edition. To get rid of this on XP Pro, your going to have to have some sort of service/script running that checks for the window and minimizes it. Unfortunately, this does not stop the focus from being put on it but it does let you hide it right away.
Before this update, I was using my 2nd monitor as the holding ground for the pop-up. Instead of it bombarding me every so often, I’d just let it sit waiting.
